A charming family of pink pigs has arrived in Texas, and they’re eager for you to join them in splashing through muddy puddles!
This past Saturday, Merlin Entertainments launched the second Peppa Pig Theme Park in the United States, located in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, following the success of the first park in Winter Haven, Florida.
The new Peppa Pig Theme Park is situated in North Richland Hills, a suburb northeast of Fort Worth, right next to the 17-acre NRH2O Family Water Park, and is a short drive from the Legoland Discovery Center and Sea Life Grapevine aquarium.

“It’s a privilege for Merlin Entertainments to bring such an iconic children’s character to life in a theme park. We are committed to creating a beautiful experience while preserving the magic of Peppa Pig for young fans. We hope families will make cherished memories here,” said Fiona Eastwood, CEO of Merlin Entertainments, during the park’s grand opening on February 28.
Tickets to the Peppa Pig Theme Park start at $27.99 per person, which includes one complimentary digital photo and video download. There are also special packages available, offering items like Peppa Pig ears and other collectibles, as well as annual passes priced at $99 per person. Children under 2 can enter the park for free.
As the park is in proximity to other Merlin-run attractions, combination tickets that provide access to Peppa Pig World of Play Dallas, Legoland Discovery Center, and Sea Life Grapevine aquarium are also available.
The Peppa Pig Theme Park in Texas features five rides, a water play area, and plenty of activities tailored specifically for children. The Daddy Pig’s Roller Coaster serves as an ideal first roller coaster for young ones, while also managing to excite parents too. Other attractions include Peppa Pig’s Balloon Ride, Grandad Dog’s Pirate Boat Ride, Grampy Rabbit’s Dinosaur Adventure, and Mr. Bull’s High Striker.
While visiting, kids can also enjoy various play areas throughout the park, including the Muddy Puddles Splash Pad (be sure to pack a swimsuit and towel for drying off), a bike and trike track, a playground, and a Fun Fair complete with complimentary carnival games and character interactions. Dining options like Miss Rabbit’s Diner offer kid-favorite menu items such as pizza, sandwiches, and “muddy puddle milkshakes.”

Mirroring other Merlin attractions, the Peppa Pig Theme Park emphasizes accessibility. Many rides and areas have been thoughtfully designed with wheelchair users in mind. Furthermore, the park is recognized as a Certified Autism Center by the International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards, meaning staff members undergo sensory awareness training, and each attraction includes a sensory guide for parents.
What distinguishes the Peppa Pig Theme Park from others is its focus on younger children. Parents won’t have to worry about their little ones being stuck in strollers as they meander from attraction to attraction. The park is compact and designed for kids to freely explore while parents keep close behind.
This smaller footprint allows visitors to fully enjoy the entire park within a single day, cementing Peppa Pig Theme Park’s place in the growing trend of smaller and cost-effective “micro parks,” akin to the Universal Kids Resort theme park also under development in Texas.
