If you’re carrying the World of Hyatt Credit Card, Chase and Hyatt have an exciting summer surprise for you: the opportunity to earn up to 100,000 points by planning a glamping getaway.

Last year, Under Canvas—known for its unique glamping retreats across the U.S.—became a part of World of Hyatt, offering a fresh way for points and miles lovers to enjoy the outdoors.

Currently, World of Hyatt members holding the World of Hyatt Credit Card can earn 20 bonus points per dollar spent, totaling up to 100,000 points, at all 13 Under Canvas locations as well as the luxurious Ulum Moab in Utah. This promotion applies to stays booked through World of Hyatt from June 1 to September 7.

Be sure to register for the promotion online with your World of Hyatt number by June 10. Even if you don’t have immediate plans for glamping, it’s wise to register in case your plans shift!

Hyatt outlines the earning structure as follows:

  • 5 base points per eligible dollar spent as a World of Hyatt member
  • 4 bonus points per dollar spent on qualifying purchases at Hyatt hotels and resorts
  • 11 additional bonus points per eligible dollar spent

If you have the card and are eager to explore the great outdoors, the only question left is: Where will you go?

Under Canvas has locations that are perfectly situated near some of the most breathtaking landscapes and national parks in the U.S.

Two new destinations high on Flying Frugal’s list are the Under Canvas sites near California’s Yosemite National Park and the Columbia River Gorge in White Salmon, Washington. The Columbia River Gorge property was featured in Flying Frugal’s list of the most exciting hotel openings of 2025, thanks to its closeness to Washington’s renowned wine scene, hiking trails in the Cascades, morning yoga, and cozy fire pits at night.

Alternatively, immerse yourself in the stunning Smoky Mountains at Under Canvas Great Smoky Mountains, then enjoy a thrilling day at Dollywood, Dolly Parton’s amazing theme park located just down the road.

At Under Canvas Great Smoky Mountains, with an average family tent rate of about $604 per night, you could accumulate nearly 50,000 bonus points during a four-night stay, putting you well on track for your next great experience at a World of Hyatt property.

If you don’t already have the World of Hyatt Credit Card, it’s not too late to apply for this highly sought-after card that often makes its way into Flying Frugal staff wallets. Currently, you can earn 30,000 bonus points after spending $3,000 within your first three months from account opening, plus an additional 30,000 bonus points by earning 2 bonus points per dollar spent in the first six months on purchases that typically earn 1 bonus point, up to $15,000 spent.
