The $730 fare offered by American, British Airways, Finnair, and Iberia includes a regular economy ticket with one checked bag and a standard carry-on.

Additionally, these airlines have a $530 Basic Economy fare, which comes with restrictions:

• NO advance seat assignments allowed.
• NO checked bags included – these cost $75 for the first bag and $100 for the second.
• NO changes permitted.
• NO cancellations allowed – after the 24-hour risk-free period, this fare is non-refundable for future travel.
• Many online travel agencies do not clearly label these fares as Basic Economy.

Starting January 8, 2025, travelers need an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) to enter the UK, costing £16 for two years. If you remain airside while transiting through the UK, you do not require an ETA. However, if you go through UK border control, you will need one. Beware of fraudulent websites that sell these for more than £16, which can be directly obtained from the UK Government.
