What is Uber One?
Uber One is a subscription service providing members with benefits on rides and Uber Eats deliveries. The cost is $9.99 plus taxes monthly or $99.99 plus taxes annually, with members saving an average of $25 monthly.
Membership benefits include:
- No delivery fee on eligible orders
- 6% back on rides as Uber One credits
- Up to 10% off select food deliveries and pickups
- 10% Uber One credits on car rentals
- Exclusive member-only offers
- No cancellation fees on rides
As a long-time Uber One member, I find significant value in the program, particularly the 6% back on rides, credited immediately, which can be applied to future orders. The no-cancellation-fee policy is particularly advantageous as it allows me to cancel without penalty if I find a better rate elsewhere.
Moreover, you can combine the benefits of Uber One with the up to $10 monthly ride-hailing credit available to Delta Platinum and Reserve cardholders. This allows you to earn 6% back in Uber One credits on an Uber ride.
For Apple Cardholders, paying via Apple Pay can earn you 3% cash back on Uber or Uber Eats, which can be stacked with the 6% back from Uber One on eligible rides.
Pro tip: If you hold both the Apple Card and an eligible Delta card, start with the free trial on the Apple Card, as it could end without notice. Then, sign up for the Uber One membership credits through your Delta card.
Final thoughts
The inclusion of complimentary Uber One memberships is a fantastic addition for frequent Uber and Uber Eats users, offering significant savings.
If you’re not a regular user, take advantage of the free trial to evaluate its worth. Just remember to cancel if you don’t find it beneficial.
