Copa’s $504 fare includes one checked bag and a standard carry-on, making it a regular economy option. The $384 fare, on the other hand, is a Basic Economy ticket with some restrictions:

• NO advance seat assignments.
• NO checked bags included – $80 for the first bag and $130 for the second each way.
• NO changes permitted.
• NO cancellations allowed; if you cancel after the initial 24-hour risk-free period, the value of the Basic Economy ticket will be lost for future travel.
