Great news for travelers heading to Tulum! The Mexican government has opened a new airport in Tulum, eliminating the lengthy 2+ hour transfer from Cancun.
According to Matrix Airfare Search by ITA Software, fares are priced at $384 for Regular Economy. If you book with American Airlines, you may find a better deal at $324 for Basic Economy and $384 for Regular Economy.
The $384 fare includes standard carry-on luggage and a personal item, plus advance seat selection.
American also offers a $324 fare, which is Basic Economy. Note that this option lacks advance seat assignments and does not allow changes.
