Exciting news: Hilton is venturing into new territory! Today, the company announced the launch of unique experiences for travelers to book using their Hilton Honors points, including luxury cruises and glamping options.
The freshly introduced Hilton Honors Adventures category expands the loyalty program, enabling members to enjoy outdoor-focused travel experiences beyond traditional hotel stays. This includes a glamping partnership with AutoCamp, as shared by Hilton with Flying Frugal.
Moreover, Hilton has teamed up with luxury cruise line Explora Journeys to provide high-end sailing options around the world.
“Explora Journeys epitomizes luxury ocean travel and exceptional experiences,” said Chris Silcock, president of global brands and commercial services at Hilton, in a statement to Flying Frugal. “This thrilling new partnership aligns perfectly with the launch of Hilton Honors Adventures, introducing fresh ways for our members to discover iconic locations and hidden treasures worldwide.”
Starting summer 2026, travelers can earn and redeem their Hilton Honors points for Explora trips, but a preview offer is currently available. Members who book a suite on Explora by June 7, 2026, will receive 100,000 Hilton Honors bonus points, an in-suite welcome gift, and either a journey experience credit of up to $400 on select itineraries or a $200 credit on all other voyages. These credits can be used for onboard enhancements such as wine tastings, spa treatments, and suite upgrades.
The preview offer allows travelers to embark on round-trip journeys to destinations like Puerto Rico, Aruba, Bonaire, as well as Greece, Turkey, and various northern European locations.

Redemption rates for points when the full partnership launches next summer are yet to be disclosed.
Explora also offers its own loyalty program, the Explora Club, which includes tier-based perks like exclusive onboard cocktail events and discounts on future bookings. They also match status from other luxury cruise loyalty programs, including those from MSC Voyagers Club.
Currently, Explora operates two ships, Explora I and Explora II, with plans to add a third in summer 2026, a fourth in summer 2027, and a fifth in December 2027. The cruise line features small ships with only 461 oceanfront suites, offering curated dining and luxury shopping experiences with brands like Rolex, Cartier, and Panerai.
Hilton is not the only brand allowing members to earn and redeem points for non-hotel experiences; Marriott Bonvoy also offers similar options for their members, including Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection cruises and a new outdoor-focused booking platform launched earlier this year.
