Right now, there’s an amazing offer for Walmart+ subscribers, which is likely to include many Flying Frugal readers since the monthly fee is refunded as a statement credit thanks to The Platinum Card® from American Express.
By simply watching a year-in-review story in the Walmart app, you can earn $15 in Lyft credits and an additional $15 in Walmart Cash. I managed to claim these credits after dedicating about 10 minutes to download the Walmart app and viewing a brief story.
Make sure you’re a Walmart+ subscriber. Just open the app and find the banner ad that says “Your Walmart+ 2024 Ultimate Savings Rewind is here!”
After clicking on the banner ad, you’ll see a personalized recap of your year.
You’ll go through several screens detailing your benefits and highlighting your “shopping personality,” along with answering a few questions, which takes just a few minutes.
After completing these steps, I received a $15 Lyft credit and $15 in Walmart Cash.
The Walmart Cash was immediately credited to my Walmart+ account, which will be useful for my last-minute holiday shopping.
I was also able to apply the Lyft credit to my account right away, though be mindful of its rapid expiration. It may be wise to wait until you’re ready to use the credit before applying it. Personally, I plan to use it before it expires on Jan. 19, 2025.
I’ve been really pleased with my Walmart+ expedited delivery subscription, especially since it’s effectively free with my American Express Platinum Card. Offers like this increase my loyalty as a customer.

This promotion may not last long, so you might want to take advantage of it soon.
A monthly Walmart+ membership grants free and fast shipping on purchases from walmart.com. Even if not every credit on the Amex Platinum Card is used, this could be one that proves to be quite useful.
