Attention Alaska Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines enthusiasts: Introducing the Atmos Rewards program!

This new loyalty initiative signifies a complete overhaul of the Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan and unveils a premium credit card for frequent flyers: the Atmos™ Rewards Summit Visa Infinite® Credit Card.

The previously available Alaska Airlines Visa Signature® card is now known as the Atmos™ Rewards Ascent Visa Signature® Credit Card, while the Alaska Airlines Visa® Business card is now the Atmos™ Rewards Visa Signature® Business Card.

The Alaska Airlines Visa Business and Alaska Airlines Visa Signature card information has been independently sourced by The Points Guy and has not been reviewed or endorsed by the card issuer.

Atmos Rewards are valued at 1.5 cents per point based on Flying Frugal’s October assessments, making these cards particularly enticing with their attractive welcome bonuses.

Let’s explore the three Atmos Rewards cards and the current welcome offers.

Atmos Rewards Summit Visa Infinite Credit Card

The premium offering for Alaska Airlines devotees, the Atmos Rewards Summit boasts an exceptional welcome bonus, solid earning rates, and comprehensive benefits.

Welcome offer: This is your final opportunity to earn 100,000 bonus points and a 25,000-point Global Companion Award by spending $6,000 or more within the first 90 days of account opening. This limited-time offer ends on October 28.

According to Flying Frugal’s October 2025 evaluations, this bonus could be worth up to $1,875 when factoring in the 25,000-point Global Companion Award.

Annual fee: $395.

Earning rates:

  • 3 points per dollar spent on eligible Alaska Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines purchases.
  • 3 points per dollar spent on eligible dining and foreign transactions.
  • 1 point per dollar on all other purchases.

Key benefits:

  • Eight annual Alaska Lounge passes (two per calendar quarter).
  • 10,000 status points each year upon account anniversary, plus 1 status point for every $2 spent.
  • 10% rewards bonus on points earned with an eligible Bank of America account.
  • Free checked bag on Alaska Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines for the cardholder plus up to six guests (when the flight is paid with this card).
  • No foreign transaction fees.
  • Priority boarding for the cardholder and up to six guests on Alaska Airlines; applicable to Hawaiian Airlines flights later this fall.
  • Up to $120 in statement credits for TSA PreCheck or Global Entry every four years.

Why we like it: The welcome offer includes the new Global Companion Award, allowing points redemption for travel with Alaska Airlines, Hawaiian Airlines, or partners (including Oneworld members) for an award ticket in any class. The 25,000-point award is granted at account opening and annually afterward.

Cardholders can earn an additional 100,000-point Global Companion Award after spending $60,000 or more in a card anniversary year, along with a $50 voucher for cancellations or delays and no change fees for same-day adjustments on Alaska Airlines. This benefit will extend to Hawaiian Airlines upon integrating their reservation systems, expected in 2026.

International travelers can benefit from earning 3 points per dollar on foreign transactions—a unique feature that allows for quick accumulation of Atmos Rewards points.

In summary, this card is an excellent option for frequent flyers with the added benefit of point transfers to hotel partners.

The partners and transfer ratios are:

  • IHG One Rewards (1:1)
  • Marriott Bonvoy (1:1)
  • Preferred Hotels I Prefer Hotel Rewards (1:2)
  • Shangri-La Circle (8:1)
  • Wyndham Rewards (1:1)
