The Capital One Venture X Business has just unveiled its most impressive welcome offer ever, possibly setting a new benchmark for business credit card bonuses.

New applicants can earn a whopping 200,000 bonus miles after spending $30,000 within the first three months, followed by an additional 200,000 bonus miles after reaching a total of $150,000 in purchases over the first six months.

This card comes with an annual fee of $395, which is lower than that of many premium competitors.

Having enjoyed my experience with the Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card for several years, I am always looking for new ways to maximize my Capital One miles.

Here’s my perspective on this lucrative offer and why I’m so eager to recommend this card.

How common is a 400,000‑mile welcome bonus on the Venture X Business?

This is the highest welcome bonus to date for this card, surpassing even the launch offer in 2023.

The previous highest offer was 350,000 bonus miles in June, which is now expired and 50,000 miles less than the current promotion.

If you’re a business owner with high spending, now is the prime opportunity to consider applying for this card, thanks to the exceptional welcome bonus.

Who qualifies for the 400,000-mile welcome bonus on the Venture X Business?

Flying Frugal suggests having a credit score of 740 or higher for this card.

You don’t need to be a traditional business owner to apply for a business credit card. However, the spending requirements for the Venture X Business are tailored for high-spending businesses.

Holding the personal Capital One Venture X does not disqualify you from the welcome bonus for the Venture X Business, and it’s not affected by the new “family” rules for Venture bonuses.

However, you may be ineligible for the welcome bonus if you already have another Capital One business card, such as a Spark card, per Capital One’s terms.

Take note that applications for Capital One cards require a six-month waiting period between them. So, if you’ve been approved for any Capital One card in the last six months, you’ll have to wait before applying for the Venture X Business card.

What is the value of 400,000 Capital One miles?

According to Flying Frugal’s November 2025 valuation, Capital One miles are valued at approximately 1.85 cents each. That means 400,000 miles could be worth up to $7,400 when transferred to Capital One’s 15+ airline and hotel partners and used for premium bookings.

If you prefer a more straightforward redemption process, you can redeem Capital One miles at a fixed rate of 1 cent each, meaning the 400,000‑mile bonus would equate to $4,000 in that scenario.

Having earned and used many Capital One miles, here are some strategies for getting the most value:

Don’t forget that by spending $150,000 to claim the full bonus, you’d also earn at least an additional 300,000 miles, as the card earns a minimum of 2 miles per dollar on purchases. This totals to at least 700,000 miles for maximum rewards.

For instance, you could book a minimum of five round-trip business-class flights to Europe by transferring to Air Canada’s Aeroplan program at a 1:1 ratio.

Be on the lookout for occasional transfer bonuses, which can help you book these flights with fewer miles.

Is the 400,000-mile Venture X offer among the best ever?

Given that even a 100,000-mile welcome bonus is generally considered generous for rewards credit cards, this remarkable offer from Capital One should attract the attention of any high-spending business owner looking to amass substantial rewards.

In addition to the impressive 400,000-mile welcome bonus, here are five key reasons I consider this card highly valuable:

  • Annual credit: Receive $300 in credits each year for bookings through Capital One Business Travel, making it more accessible than some premium cards with complex benefits.
  • Anniversary bonus: Get 10,000 bonus miles on your account anniversary, starting with your first anniversary (valued at $185 based on Flying Frugal’s November 2025 estimates).
  • Lounge access: Enjoy complimentary access to Capital One Lounges and over 1,300 Priority Pass lounges for you and up to two guests (note that guest access will change in February).
  • High portal earning rates: Earn 10 miles per dollar on hotel and rental car bookings and 5 miles per dollar on flights and vacation rentals through Capital One Business Travel. This makes it simple to earn extra miles for business travel expenses.
  • Excellent everyday earning: Earn 2 miles for every dollar spent on other purchases.

It’s worth noting that when you pay the $395 annual fee in subsequent years, you’ll still receive both a $300 travel credit and 10,000 bonus miles, effectively covering the annual fee.

Final thoughts

The 400,000‑mile welcome offer on the Capital One Venture X Business is a standout deal in the business credit card market. Here’s why:

  • This is the highest welcome bonus ever publicly offered on the card.
  • The welcome bonus has an estimated value of $7,400, according to Flying Frugal’s November 2025 valuations.
  • The card allows you to earn at least 2 miles per dollar spent across all purchases.
  • Your miles can be transferred to some of the world’s leading airlines and hotel programs.

While the full bonus is geared towards businesses with substantial credit card expenditure, the potential rewards are enormous.

Capital One has yet to announce an end date for this offer, making it an opportune time to apply for the Venture X Business card if you’re considering it.
