According to Matrix Airfare Search by ITA Software, the fare is $690 for Regular Economy. Using those dates with American Airlines can bring the price down to $490 (Basic Economy) and $690 (Regular Economy).

The $690 fare by American / British Airways / Finnair / Iberia includes one checked bag and a standard carry-on.

There’s also a $490 option, but it’s for Basic Economy/Economy Light, which has several restrictions:

• No advance seat assignments
• Checked bags not included – fees are $75 for the first bag and $100 for the second each way
• No changes allowed
• No mileage earning
• No cancellations allowed – if you cancel after the 24-hour risk-free period, this fare won’t be valid for future travel
• Many travel agencies might not display these fares as Basic Economy accurately.

Beginning January 8th, 2025, you’ll need an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) to enter the UK. The ETA costs £16 for a two-year period. If you’re just transiting through the UK and remain airside, you won’t need an ETA. However, if you pass through UK border control, you’ll require one. Beware of scams; avoid websites that charge more than £16 for the ETA, which you can obtain directly from the UK Government.
