If you own multiple credit cards, keeping track of this month’s benefits can seem daunting. Do you think you can recall all these perks on your own? Probably not.
Instead of managing everything by yourself, we’ve put together a simple monthly checklist of credit card perks and benefits you may qualify for. This will eliminate the confusion about when your benefits expire and their worth.
Here are some key reminders for February.
American Express
American Express provides a variety of monthly card perks worth utilizing since many of their statement credits are issued as monthly amounts instead of just annual benefits.
Keep in mind that these values are “up to” amounts, indicating the maximum credit you can claim. If your expenditures are lower than the stated amount, only the actual amount spent will be reimbursed.
It’s worth noting that your Uber Cash will expire at the end of the month if it goes unused. In summary, these credits must be utilized within the month or you’ll lose them.
The Platinum Card from American Express
- Up to $12.95 statement credit for a Walmart+ monthly membership (up to $155 each year): Pay with The Platinum Card® from American Express, and receive a statement credit for one membership fee each month. Enrollment is needed; terms apply.

Annual credits, such as up to $300 for Equinox memberships, also help offset the card’s $695 annual fee (check rates and fees).
