The $705 fare with American, British Airways, Finnair, and Iberia includes one checked bag and a regular-sized carry-on.
Alternatively, the $505 fare is a Basic Economy fare which has some restrictions, including:
- No advance seat assignments allowed
- Checked bags cost extra – $75 for the first bag and $100 for the second
- No changes allowed
- No cancellations – once the 24-hour risk-free period is over, this fare will have no value if you cancel
- Many online travel agencies do not clearly label these fares as Basic Economy for American, British Airways, Finnair, and Iberia.
Beginning January 8th, 2025, travelers to the United Kingdom will need an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA), costing £16 for two years. Transiting through the UK does not require an ETA if you remain airside. However, if you pass through border control, one is necessary.
