The $596 fare includes one checked bag for each leg of the journey.

On the other hand, the $496 fare is a Basic Economy / Economy Light option, which comes with certain limitations. When opting for Scandinavian Airlines Basic Economy / Economy Light fares, please note the following restrictions:

• Checked bags are NOT included—$75 each way if purchased more than 22 hours before check-in, and $105 at airport check-in.
• No changes are permitted.
• No cancellations allowed—if you cancel after the 24-hour, risk-free period, the Basic Economy fare will hold no value for future purchases.
