United Airlines offers a regular economy fare at $759, which includes ONE checked bag and a standard carry-on.

Alternatively, United also provides a Basic Economy fare for $599. With Basic Economy, you should be aware that:

• Advance seat assignments are NOT permitted.
• Checked bags are NOT included; the fees are $55 each way for the first bag and $100 for the second.
• Changes in your itinerary are NOT allowed.
• Cancellations are NOT permitted — if you cancel after the risk-free 24-hour period, the fare will have no value for future bookings.
• Many online travel agencies may not clearly label these fares as BASIC ECONOMY for United/Air Canada/Austrian/Lufthansa/Swiss Air.

To visit Bora Bora, you’ll need an additional ticket with Air Tahiti, which costs around $500 for a round trip. Note that Air Tahiti is not part of any mileage program.
