Using Matrix Airfare Search by ITA Software, you can find a price of $497 for Basic Economy. However, for similar travel dates on Scandinavian Airlines, you can rebook for $485 (Basic Economy) or $555 (Regular Economy).
The $555 fare includes one checked bag each way.
The $485 fare is a Basic Economy fare with certain restrictions. Here are the details:
- Checked bags are NOT included – they cost $75 each way if purchased 22 hours before check-in and $105 at the airport.
- No changes allowed
- No cancellations – after the 24-hour risk-free period, the Basic Economy fare will not be valid for future purchases.
- Most online travel agencies do not list Scandinavian Airlines’ Basic Economy fares correctly.
