As we enter February, we are already setting our sights on the exciting hotel openings slated for 2025. If Costa Rica is on your travel agenda this year, it’s time to start accumulating those Hilton Honors points: The Waldorf Astoria Costa Rica Punta Cacique is now accepting reservations.
This marks the first Waldorf Astoria in this stunning Caribbean destination, and it will begin welcoming guests on May 1.
Conveniently located just 17 miles from Daniel Oduber Quirós International Airport (LIR), the main gateway to the resort-rich Guanacaste province, the hotel offers a selection of 148 guest rooms and 40 suites, featuring amenities like outdoor soaking tubs, rainfall showerheads, and 65-inch TVs. For an even more indulgent experience, consider a room with a plunge pool or opt for a two- or three-bedroom villa.
In keeping with the brand’s renowned style, expect to find the iconic Peacock Alley bar, along with La Finca, the signature restaurant featuring seasonal cuisine, Tico Tica, which offers all-day dining with a local twist, and a variety of casual eateries, pool bars, and wellness-oriented venues.
This family-friendly resort will offer plenty of fun, including a kids center and a teen club. Your family may find it hard to leave the multi-level pool that cascades down the 300-foot cliffside, but if you can, a secluded beach awaits at the base.
Other notable features of this stunning new hotel include the Waldorf Astoria Spa, a fully equipped gym and fitness center, a salon, paddleboarding, boating, and opportunities to explore the rich culture and natural beauty of Guanacaste.
