Azamara has unveiled an exciting new world cruise itinerary, currently among the longest in the industry.

The small-ship cruise line announced its longest-ever world cruise set to depart in 2027. This remarkable 188-night journey will take travelers to an incredible 103 destinations across five continents and 37 countries.

Azamara’s commitment to longer port stays and overnight calls fits perfectly with a world cruise itinerary. During this voyage, guests can look forward to 50 late-night port calls and 15 overnight stays.

Travelers will embark on the 702-passenger Azamara Quest, providing a chance to explore destinations like Japan, Tahiti, New Zealand, Thailand, Alaska, and Sweden. The ship’s smaller size ensures an intimate experience, allowing access to both popular cruise ports and narrower waterways that larger vessels cannot navigate. For instance, Azamara Quest will journey through Germany’s Kiel Canal and sail right into downtown Shanghai.

Targeting affluent travelers, Azamara prides itself on creating a close-knit onboard atmosphere with itineraries focused on immersive experiences. The 2027 World Cruise will include 12 exclusive and complimentary AzAmazing Evenings, presenting opportunities to explore iconic landmarks and enjoy cultural performances at various ports.

The world cruise begins in San Francisco on January 5, 2027, featuring several sea days interspersed with port stops in Hawaii and French Polynesia.

Following these stops, Quest will explore American Samoa and Tonga before moving on to Fiji and New Zealand (including Auckland, Christchurch, Dunedin, and more) in February. Additional highlights that month include visits to major Australian cities such as Melbourne and Sydney.

Travelers will experience spring by ticking off several global bucket list experiences. From March through April, the itinerary will include visits to Thailand, Vietnam, China, Japan, and South Korea, with timing perfectly aligned for cherry blossom viewing.

In May, Quest will navigate Alaska’s Inside Passage, making stops in Sitka, Juneau, and Ketchikan, before heading to Vancouver and Victoria in Canada. The ship will then continue south to Mexico and Costa Rica before traversing the Panama Canal, making its way up North America’s East Coast in June and crossing the Atlantic, stopping in Ireland and France.

The final segment of the world cruise will showcase Northern Europe, with stops in the Netherlands, Germany, Poland, Estonia, Finland, and Sweden, concluding in Copenhagen on July 12, 2027.

For those who can’t commit to the full 188 days, Azamara is offering 12 shorter segments.

Bookings for Azamara’s World Cruise are now open, with fares starting at $85,559 per person (based on double occupancy) for an inside cabin.

Azamara fares include room service, gratuities, select beverages, self-service laundry, and the AzAmazing Evenings program. Guests booking the complete world cruise can also enjoy additional perks, such as $8,500 in onboard credit, unlimited Wi-Fi, a complimentary Premium Beverage Package upgrade, as well as pre-cruise amenities, which include airfare credit, a one-night hotel stay, transfers, and a $500 luggage reimbursement (collectively valued at over $40,000 per cabin, according to the cruise line).

Bookings can be made directly with Azamara or through your preferred travel agent.
